I am not sure I have much of a hobby per say, but I do have interests, I like to write, I love music. I’m 28 years old, Residing in Southeastern Connecticut. I work for Mitchell College in the Academic Technologies dept. I work the Help Desk.

A lot of different factors inspire me to write. It can be a good movie, a deep song, or just a phrase that I kick around in my head. That is how most of my poetry starts. Mostly my emotions or circumstances inspire me. Other than that I don’t limit myself to other sources for inspiration.

I believe I began writing when I was about 15 or 16. It wasn’t poetry I wrote fictional stories. It was sporadic for the first few years non seriously writing. When I was 17 I wrote my first poem it was very difficult I had help from a friend of mine. I was going to give it to an ex girlfriend in hopes of winning her back. She caught wind of it and laughed about it. Needless to say I never gave it to her but destroyed it. I wrote steadily starting at 19 but those poems which was about 30 or so were destroyed in a sewage flood. When I lived briefly in Seattle at age 22 I began taking it seriously writing poems and now currently working on a fantasy novel.

Not necessarily a favorite poet but Any poet who is true to themselves in their writing and writes something I can relate to I would consider a favorite.
