Tender words spreads smiles wide
Crossing chasms too far to safely traverse
Words of love and kindness forming bonds unbreakable
Binding hearts and friends together in a lifelong embrace
Words of passion causing hearts to beat wildly
Strengthening those same hearts against the slings and arrows life often throws
Gentle hands grasp at waiting flesh making new connections
Making further pathways to which to share love and friendship
Fingers pluck and play instruments to produce new sounds of pleasure
Inviting the ears to listen and the toes to tap
Sounds of joy vibrate through the air touching souls of all ages
Prompting the body to move and gather partners in which to share the moment
The eyes seek new sights of beauty to share and absorb
Giving renewed substance to form works of verse, art and pleasure most varied
Seeking out the sights and sounds of nature gives us a store of untapped wonder
In which we at our own pace refine and rework to produce true art
And should you find your self blocked from your finished work
Find a small child to observe or converse with as you would a friend or equal
Absorb their innocence, their unique insight and their pure unblinded joy in life
If you are still blocked at least you will have laughed and shared a rare moment
For tender words, spoken thoughts and nature's songs yield us vast treasures
Take none so lightly, without reverence or emotional anchors
For these are truly Art's resources, given freely to be spent wisely
To share nature's gifts as you have enjoyed them is itself a work of art
Return to the world the gentle thoughts as you interpret them and recycle the Joy!!!
