A message
Cryptically hidden
Right in front
Of your face.
Secret words written by
The first letter of each line.
Indirectly but purposefully
Creating a
Phrase, demonstrating
Originality and
Expressed to you by
Me and my Muse.

Written: April 1997
Comments: In my English class we learned the many different types
of poetry one can write...or at least those defined by a
set of rules and structure. To demonstrate our understanding
of each style of writing we were forced to generate several
poems as an example of each. This was my lame attempt at
Acrostic Poetry. I am not fond of these
"homework" poems because they were only written for a
grade, not because I had been inspired or even had a desire
to write a poem that day. Long story short...this is not
one of my favorites, but I shall post it just the same.
