I'm not one of the beautiful people
with porcelain skin, and willowy features
I'm not real tall, I'm not real thin
I'm just me...I'm real.

I'm not one of the beautiful people
the girls on the magazine covers
who obsess over their physical feature
and pay out money to perfect the rest.
I'm just me...I'm real.

I'm not one of the beautiful people
not even a reasonable facsimile
I eat real food I go out and live
I'm just me...I'm real.

I'm not one of those beautiful people
but would I really want to be?
maybe I'll just sit here and pick my nose
continue being me...continuing to be real.
