Succulent Beaches

Moonlight cascading down from star speckled skies falling upon the succulent beaches of my mind.
Illuminating the sands creating the illusion of a billion flawless gems shimmering under foot.
It is not long after I sense your presence that I hear you whisper my name. Though you lay far off in the distance the rolling waves carry your words to my ears.

Before I can move even one step in your direction ,your voice lifts me above the moon kissed sands, and in an instant I rest beside you

Now laying deep within your arms, two melting into one as the tides wash over vanquishing reality, fulfilling desire .

Reveling in that moment we shared spent intertwined on the succulent beaches of my mind.
