The Fairies Danced

'Tis the work of the Fairies they say

To spread light, laughter and romance

So carefree childlike and gay

Yes, love comes when the Fairies dance

They seem to take the greatest pleasure

In helping souls who've lost their way

As angels they can destiny turn

Though think not to catch them, Sprites or Fae

No one will likewise know the secrets of the soul

And work as they to draw twin flames now apart

With magick dust and nights of great rejoicing

At dawn are brought new seasons of the heart

I too have often wondered as my head on my pillow I lay

Wondering when I'd get my chance

Dreaming softly of my love

As above my head the Fairies danced
