Almost about Nothing

A thought arises and hands do too
To grip a pen, but black or blue?
Perhaps red or green or combination of these
I'll write in a chair, or the bed or on my knees
Perhaps in print or cursive or typed very neat
Now to make the poem morbid or cheerful or sweet
Now what's a good title that's the first thing they see
Each word I choose represents how much they'll like me
What rhymes with this and how to place that
Thinking in the midst of critiquing on how I sat
If I hunch over I might tighten my grip
If I lean too far back the pen might slip
This has to be perfect and clearly thought through
Now I don't remember my inspiration.. do you?
