Spring

Overflowing water falls
Imprints left by rabbit paws

A herd of deer with fawn
Now that the snow is gone

Green leaves and budding rose
All exciting the inside of my nose

Shadow Poets

A word or phrase or line
Form, prose, freeform, or rhyme

Lurking shadow pens ignite
Bringing art by word to light

Creatures of the night are we
As we would rather feel than see

Sunrise

Misty morning glory and dew
Will all dissappear quite soon

Yellow tint in the Eastern sky
Like a flame learning to fly

Clearing the moutaintops and hills
Warming up the air until

Rosey cheeks hide from the glow
Until they grow cold tomorrow

Australia

Surrounded by ocean and sea
And so very far away from me

This infinite land of mystery
Born first of the Aboringine

Koala, Wallaby, and Kangaroo
Waiting to play with you

Longing to be in the Outback
Hiking along with only a backpack

To experience Oz in all it's splender
Then when I get hungry go bother Lynda
