Alone in this place
Beside myself in this race
Choices left undecided
Deaf ears in whom I confided
Every fear and every hope
Forgiving myself and trying to cope
Going through the motions all in my head
Hindered by unseen obstacles instead
I have a mirror for a lover
Juxtaposed in front of another
Killing my confidence little by little
Lying to my face and talking in riddles
Motionless expressions of adoration forthcoming
None left in reserve so I’ll just keep running
Opinions like lies
Plague of white flies
Quarantined factual physical evidence
Resisting any form of inner-independence
Sideways watching gifts receiving
Tides turning tail and receding
Under duress and signing away my soul
Victory ceremonies held silent and untold
Where is the one who will free me from this cell
X-ray my guilt and compassion
Your heart so parallel in similar fashion
Zenith of my prayers fall far below

Beating upon a tin roof
Culminating the time between two hearts
Drowning out the monotony of sunlight
Evenly running down the roadside
Fires never standing a chance
Genuine feels in misty breath
Heaven awaits passion in cloud form
Instinctively comfortable
Just you and I
Killing time together lonliness
Life coming to a halt
Moments turn to memories
Never wishing for an end
Obstacles destroyed
Perpetual bliss in hand
Quietly enjoying the warmth
Resting in presence
Savoring cool breezes
Taking away the heat
Under no impressions of
Visitation hinderances
We talk, holding onto still time
eXacting vengence on lonliness
You looking magnifiscent amid the damp weather
Zealous of your form in fromt of my eyes
