Moon Love

In the sub-tropic night the moon casts shadows
On the lonely lady walking in her gardens.
The palms and gums play games with the light
Sprinkling the shadows with silver confetti.

With an aching heart, she sends a silent call
To her love. Well aimed, the call glances
from the moon to travel over miles of lonely
land to find her other half, her hidden soul.

One day their souls will blend. And mend with
Joy the breaks and aches of lonely lives.
The pain of life's bad choices, and the hurt of
Lonely years will fade away. With love.
